This is the updated edition of the popular course Português XXI, adapted with the new spelling reforms (the Novo Acordo Ortográfico). It features up-to-date contents, a revised design which is much more modern and attractive, new photos and downloadable audio content. This three-level Portuguese-language course is one of our best-sellers, and focuses on motivating beginner students to actively participate in their learning. The course, which clearly respects the recommendations of the CEFR, follows a progressive and functional programme of activities designed to develop different linguistic, communicative and phonetic skills and there are various revision units in the Student's book to help students revise the content they have learned. Each Student's book provides 120 hours' study and is clearly laid out with colourful images and contemporary photos. Important grammar points are summarised at the end of each of the 12 units. The Student's books include downloadable audio files as well as a lenghthy glossary, answers to all the exercises and the transcripts relating to the audio content.
