'... well written and logically structured ... should be an essential purchase for libraries in all higher education institutions offering geology courses, and for researchers and industry professionals with practical interests in sedimentary petrology.' Geoscientist 'The book provides a well balanced text in every sense ... Line drawings and photos are of good quality and the links between the various chapters are well focused ... I am convinced that this is the best book on sedimentary petrology that is currently available. The book will, beyond doubt, be of great help to students, researchers and professionals alike ...'
