Our Favourites For This Month!
Winter im Sommer - Fruehling im Herbst Joachim Gauck This is the autobiography of Joachim Gauck, who recently became Germany's new President. Gauck was one of the most important key characters in the East German Civil Right movement. Inspired by his father, who was a victim of the socialist regime and got deported to Siberia and draws a picture of man who never stopped to stand up for what he believes in.
"This autiobiography is absolutely worth reading, this book gives you inside of Gaucks life and his believes and it is absolutely inspirational. Everyone interested in recent Germany history has to read this book."
